ABSTRACT
The presence of anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) and lupus anticoagulant (LA) is considered among diagnostic criteria of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Studies during the last decade revealed that also other antibodies, mainly antiprothrombin antibodies and anti-b22-glycoprotein I (ab2GPI), belong to antiphospholipid antibodies, which play significant role in the developing of APS. The review of papers on incidence and clinical significance of the antibodies, as well as own experiences are presented.
