ABSTRACT
The human immunodefficiency virus (HIV) infections occure in adults and also in childhood. The follow up of the mother to child transmission of HIV is different then the follow up of HIV infection in adults. We present the case of a girl with juvenile idiopathic arthritis who had HIV infection diagnosed in the age of 16.
