ABSTRACT
In patients suffering from rheumatoid diseases, the complex rehabilitation is one of the most important methods to restore the movement system functionality and to recover. Combining kinesiotherapy, especially an individual one, with various physiotherapy methods (e.g. ultrasounds, cryotherapy, laser radiation, electrotherapy) enables to gain positive treatment results. A patient suffering from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is offered an individual therapeutic program with respect to the miscellaneous disease progress and its activity as well as environmental and social factors. In the article the current rehabilitation guidelines, applied in RA and AS patients’ treatment are presented.
