ABSTRACT
Multiple myeloma can imitate many various diseases, which causes frequent diagnostic difficulties and extends the time to correct diagnosis. The article describes the case of a 76-year old woman with multiple myeloma imitating acute coronary syndrome with uncommon laboratory results. The myeloma was diagnosed in the patient 1.5 years after the first symptoms, based mainly on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and trepanobiopsy.
