ABSTRACT
The concept of rheumatism of soft tissues refers to so-called regional pain syndromes and abarticular changes including muscles, ligaments and articular capsules. Due to that wide range of changes in clinical practice often the simultaneous occurrence of a few pain syndromes is met. In this article fibromyalgia and the most frequent pain syndromes together with their clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods and possibilities of treatment are discussed (Fig. 1).
