Use of radiosynovectomy in treatment of rheumatoid diseases

Radiosynovectomy is used to local treatment of chronic arthritis and it leads to renovation of synovium owing to beta radiation emitted by intraarticular injected radionuclide. It is alternative method to surgical synovectomy, used in case of inefficiency of standard therapy and steroid intraarticular injection. In this article we present using of radiosynoviorthesis in treatment of some rheumatoid disease based on clinical experiences.
