Position of radiosynoviorthesis in the treatment of chronic inflammatory musculo-skeletal disorders

ABSTRACT
Radiosynoviorthesis is used as local treatment of recurrent joint effusions and leads to synovium necrosis after radionuclide administration. The procedure provides an opportunity of full recovery of the normal synovium function after local corticosteroids and systemic modifying drugs failure.
