STRESZCZENIE
Włóknienie zaotrzewnowe jest rzadkim schorzeniem o niejasnej patogenezie. Charakteryzuje się obecnością włóknisto-zapalnej masy, zwykle otaczającej aortę brzuszną i tętnice biodrowe. Wczesne rozpoznanie i właściwe leczenie na ogół pozwala uniknąć ciężkich powikłań. Artykuł podsumowuje aktualną wiedzę dotyczącą włóknienia zaotrzewnowego. Zaproponowano również algorytm leczenia oparty na dostępnej literaturze oraz doświadczeniach własnych.
