Zespół Cogana – przyczyna niecodziennych trudności diagnostycznych i terapeutycznych

Zespół Cogana jest rzadkim schorzeniem autoimmunologicznym, przebiegającym z zajęciem struktur oka i układu słuchu. W niektórych przypadkach, zwłaszcza w początkowym okresie choroby, występują niespecyficzne objawy ogólnoustrojowe, takie jak gorączka, bóle stawów, bóle głowy, kaszel czy duszność, krwioplucie, co może stwarzać istotne problemy w diagnostyce różnicowej. W pracy przedstawiono przypadek atypowej postaci zespołu Cogana u mężczyzny leczonego przez 3 lata z powodu reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów.
