STRESZCZENIE
Toczeń noworodków (TN) występuje u 2% dzieci matek z obecnymi przeciwciałami anty-SSA/Ro i/lub anty-SSB/La. Najwcześniejszym objawem choroby, wykrywanym między 18. a 24. tygodniem ciąży, jest blok przedsionkowo-komorowy serca. Jego przebieg, a szczególnie współistniejąca uogólniona choroba serca, decydują o rokowaniu w tej chorobie. Poczynione w ostatnich latach obserwacje oraz wyniki badań klinicznych z randomizacją znacząco poszerzyły stan wiedzy na temat patogenezy i przebiegu TN, a także możliwości terapeutycznych.
