Nowe kryteria klasyfikacyjne reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów

W artykule przedstawiono nowe kryteria klasyfikacyjne reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów (RZS), opracowane pierwszy raz przez wspólną grupę roboczą badaczy amerykańskich – z Amerykańskiego Kolegium Reumatologicznego (ACR) – i europejskich – z Europejskiej Ligi Przeciwreumatycznej (EULAR). Omówiono przyczyny wprowadzenia nowych kryteriów oraz zasady ich opracowywania. Na podstawie prac nad nowymi kryteriami wymieniono objawy kliniczne i wyniki badań dodatkowych, które są czynnikami ryzyka przetrwałego albo nadżerkowego zapalenia stawów. Przedstawiono sposób posługiwania się nowymi kryteriami ACR/EULAR 2010 dla RZS. Zwrócono także uwagę na ewentualne konsekwencje wprowadzenia nowych kryteriów
